Osa peninsula is considered to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth. It has great variety of flora and fauna. Also, this peninsula is part of Costa Rica. That's why the infrastructure there is good. There is an airport connecting the peninsula with other part of the country and the entire world. This is a place where technology and environment coexist together. There are beautiful spa centers and hotels. The flora and fauna surround the spa centers and hotels. It is one of the perfect places for relaxation.

What makes Osa peninsula so unique is not the hotels or the spa centers. It is estimated that the half of the species that can be found in Costa Rica are located on the Osa peninsula. This is amazing. Many different species and kind of animals coexist together on a peninsula. This means that there is something that attracts them there. There are unique conditions for the animals to nest. That's why many of the sea turtles choose to go to the Osa peninsula to nest. It is estimated that there are at least 4 types of sea turtles that visit the Osa peninsula to nest. When you have in mind that there are few sea turtles left in the world, the government decided that the time for strict measures has come. The government works really hard to preserve the sea turtles because they are really important for the balance between environment and humans. Also, most of the sea turtles are in the so called "Red book", this is a book where the species that are about to become extinct are recorded. That's why the government is doing a favour to the world.
Also, Osa peninsula is place of many different types of animals who coexist together. There are some really unique types of animals. Osa peninsula is a rainy place but many birds live there. Sound surprising, isn't it? How can birds live in a rainy place? If it is raining, they will have troubles flying. The reason for that is because they feel absolutely safe, when they are on the Osa Peninsula. They do not feel any threads coming. The reason for that is because the animals there have created their own unique way to live their lives. They do not live in fear. Osa peninsula ia place for them where they can nest, rest and live freely.
