Also, make a deep research on their habits, eating preferences before you actually get an exotic animal or a turtle.

Housing:

When you have your turtle or exotic pet, you want duplicate the natural environment of the animal. If it lives in bogs, try to create an environment that is really close to a bog. Also, if you need a help professional, do not hesitate to ask. They will provide you with more than enough information. Turtles tend to prefer aquariums that are large. Also, they want to have a place where they can swim. That's why it is best to have a big and deep aquarium. You want to have a ground place too, which is covered with rocks and mud. Exotic animals also have their preferences, otherwise they will not be considered exotic. It is best, if you know a good way to maintain the temperature all the time without any fluctuations.

Feeding:

You want to feed your turtle while they are in the water. Do not take them out just to feed them. The reason why they have to be fed in the water is because they can not swallow the food, if it is not dissolved in the water. Turtles like meat of any kind. Also, there are some turtles that like fruits like banana. It is good to give your turtle variety of different foods. Earthworms are probably the most favorite meal for many turtles. You want to add calcium and any other vitamins to their food as supplements. This is really important for the baby turtles because they need a lot of calcium.
